The 24th August 2011 was a key date in Hedone’s development as we successfully launched the game into closed beta.
Whilst the game is still being developed, closed beta is a key milestone for us as it marks the game’s and company’s move towards a live service. The Beta is currently EU only, with a US Beta following soon. Anyone interested in Hedone is invited to sign up to the Hedone forum

Gamescom was a crazy, hectic and exciting event for us this year with Hedone playable for the first time by the gaming public.
Over the course of the weekend we had over 1000 excited gamers try out the game and the response was very encouraging. It was great to meet and chat to so many people who are as (if not more) excited about Hedone as we are.
As a thank you to those who checked out the game and gave us feedback, everyone who filled in a feedback form was given a guaranteed access into the Hedone closed beta.

Acony are proud to be presenting our game for the very first time to the public at the Gamescom 2011 in Cologne, Germany. Visitors and press will get the chance to play the game and register for the closed beta at the show from the 17th-21st August at stand C036 in Hall 9.
The Acony team will be well represented with staff from many different departments to answer questions and talk about our game. Come and find us there!

E3 is over for another year but the news keeps coming! Following our successful trip to Los Angeles, the fine people at http://www.fpsguru.com/features/41/The-Best-of-E3-2011-Awards.html were so impressed with what they saw of Hedone that they awarded it ‘Biggest Surprise’ in their after-show award round-up. We’re very proud to receive this award and to see our hard work recognised alongside some of the biggest brands in the industry.
The Acony team returned from the E3 Expo in Los Angeles after an amazing show. We would like to thank all the press and publishers that we met with during our visit, we had some very productive and exciting meetings and are proud that our game was extremely well received by everyone who saw it. We’ll be making some announcements very shortly so please stay tuned for more exciting news about Hedone soon.
